General Description
The Banbury mixer is a type of industrial machine that’s able to force the cohesion of heavy rubbers and plastics, things that wouldn’t normally blend together without a lot of pressure and energy. Its operation is pretty straightforward. The mixer has a roughly cylindrical shape with a large hopper into which all the ingredients and additives are poured or placed; then, a series of rams and rotators compress the materials while pressure builds and the hopper begins to spin. In most cases heat is also an important element, both through natural friction and external supply.

The mixing chamber is of drilled structure with quick and better heating/cooling effects. The inner wall is coated with hard chrome for long service life.
Build-up welding of hard alloy for the two, three, four ridge top and sides of the rotor, all the working surfaces are coated with hard chrome, good appearance and abrasive resistance. The cooling / heating medium can pass through the hollow of the tangent linear type, mesh type, and synchronization type rotor.
Constant hydraulic pressure seal structure is used for the top of the rotor and the seal effect is good with long service time thanks to high pressure lubrication automatic alarm for used up of oil.
The upper bolt relieves the pressure automatically to protect the machine and for long service time if the machine works for too long time under overload condition.
The working surface of up and down bolts are coated with hard chrome, good appearance and abrasive resistance. The cooling / heating medium can pass through the inner hollow of down bolt.
A rotary oil cylinder is used for the discharge door, smooth running and accurate positioning.
Use two shafts put-out hard teeth reducer and gear coupling or “+”type universal joint the transmission is smooth with high efficiency, low noise level and long service life.
